Our Proven Process
The Five C's of our Design-Build Process:
Here's the proven process we follow for all of our Design-Build projects:
Conceptual Budget:
We meet with you, one-on-one, discuss your project in great detail. From that initial consultation, we will create a cost estimate based on the initial scope of your project.
We call this initial estimate a Conceptual Budget Estimate.
Your conceptual budget will include all the costs associated with the entire construction process, including architectural drawings, permits, approvals, project management. supervision, labor, and materials, including the most common standard fixtures, features and finishes.
Construction Drawings:
(a) Preliminary design, which includes the overall land survey and site plan showing the lot lines, building envelope and the proposed outline of your new home.
(b) Design drawings. There may be multiple architectural drafts of design drawings as you fine tune your new custom home to suit your wants, needs, taste and lifestyle.
(c) Construction drawings. A final set of architectural drawings will that include all the details of your new home: The floor plan; the layout, features, fixtures, mirrors, windows, siding, glass, tile, flooring, wall coverings, and lighting you've chosen for your new home's interior and exterior finishes.
Construction Agreement:
Our agreement includes your approved design and the architectural construction drawings, the actual costs associated with building your new dream, and our construction schedule.
Commencement:
Our start date is when all of your hard work and preparation finally begins. This is the exciting start of something beautiful!
Completion:
We walk through the project together, admiring all your great ideas and how wonderful it all looks.
We shake hands, part as friends, and you enjoy your beautiful new dream home.
